Envu Tempo 1% Cyfluthrin Insecticide Dust 567 g — Ready-to-Use Crack & Crevice Pest Control

Tempo 1% Dust is a ready-to-use cyfluthrin-based insecticide dust formulated for precise crack, crevice, void and nest applications to control ants, spiders, roaches, bed bugs and stinging insects.

Tempo 1% Dust by Envu is a dry, low-odor pest control formulation designed to reach pests where liquids and baits often cannot. The 1.25 lb package contains a 1% cyfluthrin concentration that adheres in place when applied, allowing technicians and homeowners to treat voids, hard-to-reach cracks, nests and structural gaps with a hand or power duster. Because it’s non-staining and odorless, it’s suited for indoor and outdoor perimeter work when label directions are followed.

How does this dust reach pests hiding inside walls and voids?

The fine particle formulation is designed to penetrate deep into wall voids and other concealed spaces so insects contact or ingest the dust as they move. It’s lightweight, so particles drift into gaps and remain in place when undisturbed, increasing chances of contact over time.

• Apply with a hand or power duster for controlled placement into voids and nests.
• Dust flows into structural gaps and behind baseboards where pests travel.
• Particles cling to insect bodies and transfer within harborages for extended effect.

Which pests will Tempo 1% Dust work against in and around my home?

Tempo 1% is formulated for broad-spectrum control of many common perimeter and indoor pests. It’s especially effective for crawling insects and stinging insects in nesting sites when dust contact is achieved and label instructions are followed.

• Ants, cockroaches and spiders—target travel paths and harborages.
• Bed bugs—use in voids and furniture crevices as permitted on the label.
• Bees, wasps, hornets and yellow jackets—effective for nest and void treatments where dust use is appropriate.

How should I apply Tempo 1% Dust safely and effectively?

Use a hand duster or compatible power duster to deliver a light, targeted application—avoid broadcasting dust on open surfaces. Follow all label directions for personal protective equipment, application rates and site limitations to ensure effectiveness and safety.

• Apply sparingly into cracks, crevices, voids and nest entrances rather than exposed surfaces.
• Wear recommended PPE and avoid inhalation or direct contact with skin.
• Keep treated areas undisturbed so the dust stays where applied for residual control.

What makes Tempo 1% Dust different from sprays and baits?

Dusts can access hidden spaces that sprays may not penetrate and they remain in place longer on vertical and overhead areas. Unlike baits, dusts kill through contact and can be used in nests and tight voids where baiting is impractical.

• Penetrates deep into structural voids and nests where liquids dissipate.
• Low-odor and non-staining—suitable for interior perimeter applications when used correctly.
• Provides residual protection in treated voids, prolonging control after application.

Who is this for? Tempo 1% Dust is intended for pest management professionals and informed homeowners who need a targeted solution for hidden pest harborages, nests and structural gaps. It’s particularly useful for technicians treating stinging insect nests, voids behind walls, and persistent crawling insects where direct placement and long residual activity matter. Always read and follow the product label for approved uses, safety precautions and site-specific instructions.
