LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Fierce Dinosaur Building Set (31379) — 283 pcs, Posable Velociraptor/Stegosaurus/Pterosaur

LEGO Creator 3 in 1 Fierce Dinosaur (31379) is a 283-piece set that builds into three distinct posable dinosaur models — Velociraptor, Stegosaurus or Pterosaur — plus scene accessories.

This versatile Creator set gives children ages 8+ an engaging building experience with multiple rebuild options. Each complete model includes movable parts for lifelike play and comes with extra elements like a dinosaur skull, ribcage, eggs and a plant to spark imaginative scenes. When the adventure ends, finished builds double as colourful shelf or desk décor.

How does this set keep playtime fresh?

The 3-in-1 format encourages repeated building sessions by offering three different dinosaur designs from the same parts. Swapping between models invites experimentation with form and function, extending the toy’s lifespan.

• Three distinct builds from one 283-piece kit.
• Rebuildable mechanics—jaws, necks, wings and tails move depending on the model.
• Accessory pieces (skull, rib cage, eggs, plant) create varied play scenarios.

What poseability and features do the dinosaurs offer?

Each dinosaur includes articulated elements that make pretend play more dynamic. The Velociraptor emphasizes agility, the Stegosaurus highlights stable movement, and the Pterosaur enables winged poses.

• Velociraptor: moveable jaw, head, arms, legs and tail for hunting poses.
• Stegosaurus: adjustable neck, head and legs to suggest walking or grazing.
• Pterosaur: hinged wings, head and feet for flight or perching stances.

Can kids follow the instructions easily?

Yes — the set is compatible with the LEGO Builder app, which provides step-by-step digital instructions and interactive tools. The app helps young builders track progress, save work and inspect models in 3D.

• Zoom and rotate 3D models for better assembly clarity.
• Save sets and track building progress in the app.
• User-friendly instructions tailored for ages 8 and up.

What makes this a good gift or display piece?

This set mixes hands-on construction with display-ready results: completed dinosaurs are sturdy enough for play and attractive enough to showcase. It’s a compact, eye-catching present that appeals to dinosaur fans and young builders.

• Finishes as a decorative model for shelves, desks or playrooms.
• Compact footprint — Velociraptor stands over 5.5 inches (about 14 cm).
• Appropriate for birthday giving or as a creative anytime gift.

Who is this for? Builders aged 8 and older who love dinosaurs, hands-on construction and imaginative storytelling will get the most from this set. It’s ideal for kids developing fine motor skills and creative problem solving, parents seeking a durable play option with display value, and LEGO collectors looking for a flexible mini-diorama piece.
