LEGO City Delivery Van Building Set 276pc - Yellow Van with 2 Minifigures & Cargo Accessories

The LEGO City: The Van (60500) is a 276-piece delivery-van building set that converts into a working cargo play vehicle with opening doors, fold-up sides and two minifigures for imaginative role-play.

This compact set combines hands-on building with everyday pretend play: kids assemble a bright yellow delivery van, then load and unload small parcels, explore an engine bay and drive the vehicle across make-believe neighbourhoods. The model’s simple functions and included accessories encourage storytelling, cooperative play and fine-motor practice while the LEGO Builder app offers 3D instructions and step-by-step support for newer builders.

How easy is this set for a 6-year-old to build and play with?

The 276-piece count and clear parts grouping make the build approachable for children aged 6 and up, especially with guided instructions in the LEGO Builder app. The finished van is sturdy and designed for immediate hands-on play.

• Includes age-appropriate parts and two starter minifigures (driver and worker) for instant role-play.
• LEGO Builder app provides zoomable 3D steps to help new builders follow along.
• Simple movable features—open hood, rear doors and fold-up side panels—keep play engaging.

What can kids do with the van during pretend-play sessions?

The set turns routine delivery tasks into imaginative scenes: children can pack the pallet, wheel parcels onto the van, and stage drop-offs around a living-room city. Small accessories create a range of micro-scenarios, from coffee breaks to busy loading docks.

• Load and unload using the included hand trolley and pallet with four mini boxes.
• Open hood and rear doors to explore pretend engine and cargo space for extra realism.
• Combine with other LEGO City sets (sold separately) to expand delivery routes and stories.

What features and accessories are included in the box?

This set delivers practical play value with a compact selection of parts and props that fit into everyday storytelling. Everything needed to build the van and stage delivery scenes is included, so no extras are required to start playing.

• 276 total pieces to build the bright yellow delivery van with functional openings.
• Two minifigures (driver and worker), a hand trolley, a pallet and four miniature LEGO boxes.
• Small props like a cup and realistic vehicle details encourage role-play variety.

How big is the finished delivery van and where does it fit?

The completed vehicle is compact enough for tabletop play yet detailed enough to feel like a proper toy delivery truck. Its size makes it easy to store on a shelf or add into a larger LEGO City layout.

• Measures over 3 in. (7 cm) high, 5 in. (16 cm) long and 2 in. (6 cm) wide when built.
• Small footprint fits most play surfaces and pairs well with other LEGO City vehicles.
• Durable construction designed for frequent handling and transport between play areas.
