LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader TIE Fighter SMART Play Set 75421 — Motion-Reactive Lights & Sounds

This set is an interactive LEGO Star Wars build that brings Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter to life with motion-reactive lights, sounds and a SMART Brick for immersive, screen-free play.

LEGO Star Wars SMART Play: Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter (set 75421) is an all-in-one kit that pairs traditional LEGO building with a SMART Play system that responds to movement and actions. The set includes a SMART Brick and charger, a LEGO SMART minifigure of Darth Vader, and a SMART Tag built into the model. Once assembled, the starfighter produces engine noises, triggerable laser effects, repair and refueling audio cues, and reacts differently depending on how kids move or play with it.

How does the SMART Brick make the TIE Fighter interactive?

The SMART Brick is the electronic core that senses motion and activates sound and light effects tied to play patterns. When placed on the SMART Tag inside the starfighter, it detects launches, flips and directional movement to trigger different audio responses. The included charger keeps the Brick powered for repeated play sessions.

• Motion-activated engine sounds and dynamic lighting when you fly or tilt the model.
• Triggerable laser-shooting and attack noises when you pull the firing control.
• Refuel and repair sound effects at the accompanying Imperial fuel station model.
• Approx. 45 minutes of play per full SMART Brick charge.

Can this set be combined with other SMART Play items or updated over time?
