Nathan SpeedDraw Plus 532 ml Insulated Handheld Water Bottle with Thumbhole Strap & Zipper Pocket

Nathan SpeedDraw Plus is an 18oz insulated handheld running bottle that delivers cold hydration, a grip-free thumbhole strap, and a zippered storage pocket for phone and essentials.

Designed for runners, hikers, and active athletes, the Nathan SpeedDraw Plus combines double-wall insulation with a comfortable, adjustable strap so you can carry fluids without clenching your hand. Reflective fabric and a race-style cap make it practical for early-morning or evening outings, while the expandable zippered pocket keeps keys, cards, and most phones secure. This profile explains how the bottle performs, what features to expect, and who will benefit most from using it.

How well does the SpeedDraw Plus keep drinks cold?

The bottle uses double-wall insulated construction to slow temperature transfer, helping beverages stay cooler longer than single-wall bottles. The 18oz capacity balances enough fluid for short to medium efforts without weighing you down.

• 18oz insulated reservoir reduces heat gain during runs
• Race-style cap enables quick sips without stopping
• Leak-resistant design suited to motion and impact

Can I run without gripping the bottle tightly?

Yes — the SpeedDraw Plus features an ergonomic adjustable strap and a thumbhole that cradle your hand so you don’t have to squeeze. That grip-free fit minimizes hand fatigue and keeps your arm relaxed over longer distances.

• Fully adjustable hand strap adapts to multiple hand sizes
• Thumbhole promotes a natural, relaxed hold
• Lightweight construction reduces swing and bounce

Will my phone and keys fit securely?

The bottle integrates a large expandable zippered pocket that accommodates phones, cards, and small essentials. The pocket expands to hold most major phone models while keeping items protected and accessible on the move.

• Expandable zippered storage fits phones, keys, and ID
• Secure zipper closure prevents items from falling out
• Low-profile placement keeps weight centered and stable

Is this bottle safe for low-light runs?

Visibility is enhanced thanks to highly reflective fabric covering the bottle, which reflects light from headlamps and vehicle headlights. That 360-degree reflectivity improves your presence on roads and trails after dark or at dawn.

• 360-degree reflective material around the bottle surface
• High-visibility pattern improves roadside and trail visibility
• Compatible with additional safety gear like vests and lights

Who is this for? The Nathan SpeedDraw Plus is aimed at runners, trail hikers, and fitness enthusiasts who want temperature retention without a bulky handheld, and who value a hands-free feel plus secure storage. If you prefer short-to-moderate outings where comfort, visibility, and easy access to your phone matter, this insulated handheld bottle is a strong match.
