Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites Lamb & Rice is an adult dry dog food with real lamb as the first ingredient, smaller kibble for easy chewing, and non-GMO ingredients formulated to support everyday vitality. Nutro pairs recognizable ingredients with straightforward sourcing to create a lamb-and-brown-rice recipe made in U.S. facilities. This 5 lb bag features small, crunchy kibble designed for adult dogs that prefer bite-sized pieces and owners who want a simpler ingredient list without artificial colors, flavors, or common fillers like corn, wheat, or soy.

What makes the lamb & rice formula different from other adult dry foods?

This recipe lists real lamb as the top ingredient, giving a protein-forward base paired with brown rice for digestible carbohydrates. The formula avoids chicken by-product meal and common fillers while using non-GMO ingredients where possible, emphasizing recognizable components rather than synthetic additives.

• Primary ingredient: real lamb for protein and flavor.
• Brown rice provides a whole-grain energy source.
• No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives added.
• Manufactured in U.S. facilities with sourced ingredients.

How does the small-bites kibble help daily feeding?

The smaller, crunchy pieces are easier for many adult dogs to pick up and chew, especially smaller breeds or dogs that prefer compact morsels. The texture also contributes to mechanical cleaning of teeth to help reduce plaque buildup as part of routine care.

• Small, uniform kibble shape for easier chewing.
• Crisp texture supports basic dental hygiene through chewing action.
• Designed for adult dogs that favor smaller bites or have smaller mouths.
• Helps maintain consistent portion control with measured servings.

Which nutritional needs does this recipe address?

The formula includes vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients to support general adult-dog health, including energy, muscle strength, and bone support. Ingredients selected also contribute to healthy skin and coat, digestion, and immune system function as part of a balanced diet.

• Complete protein source from lamb to support muscles.
• Added vitamins and minerals for day-to-day nutrient needs.
• Ingredients that support skin, coat, digestion, and immunity.
• Non-GMO ingredients and no chicken by-product meal.

Are there any ingredients to watch for if my dog has sensitivities?

This recipe excludes corn, wheat, soy, and chicken by-product meal, and it contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. However, trace amounts of excluded ingredients could be present due to shared manufacturing equipment, so owners of dogs with strict allergies should consult a veterinarian before switching.

• No corn, wheat, or soy listed in the recipe.
• No chicken by-product meal or artificial additives included.
• Possible cross-contact during manufacturing may occur.
• Consult your veterinarian for diagnosed food allergies or sensitivities.
