Presto SaladShooter electric slicer & shredder 02910 — compact 1-speed, stainless-steel cones, dishwasher-safe

The Presto SaladShooter 02910 is a compact electric slicer and shredder that rapidly slices, shreds, and grates vegetables, fruits, cheese, nuts, and more directly where you need them. The Presto SaladShooter 02910 turns repetitive prep into a quick, tidy task so you can build salads, pizzas, tacos, and desserts with less fuss. Its one-speed motor drives interchangeable stainless-steel cones that slip into the chute and lock with a single twist; feed pieces into the chamber while aiming the chute at a bowl, plate, or pan and the machine delivers uniform slices or shreds. With most components dishwasher-safe and a wipe-clean motor base, it’s designed for everyday use and compact storage.

How does the SaladShooter save time and reduce mess?

By feeding ingredients straight through the chute, the SaladShooter eliminates the need for extra prep bowls and multiple tools. It processes successive ingredients without changing parts between them, so you can alternate cheese, lettuce, and carrots quickly. Cleanup is simpler because all detachable parts are dishwasher-safe and the motor base wipes clean.

• Shoots prepared food directly into bowls or onto plates—no extra bowls needed
• Two cones (slice and shred) swap in quickly with a twist-lock ring
• Most parts dishwasher-safe; base wipes clean
• Compact footprint stores in drawers or small cabinets

What foods and results can I expect from the slicing and shredding cones?

The stainless-steel cones create consistent slices or shreds ideal for salads, pizzas, tacos, and desserts. Use the shredding cone for hard cheeses, carrots, potatoes for hash browns, or chocolate; use the slicing cone for apples, bananas, cucumbers, and other firm produce. A simple guide in the manual lists recommended cone choices and feed sizes for best results.

• Shreds cheese, carrots, potatoes, nuts, and chocolate
• Slices apples, bananas, cucumbers, and similar fruits and vegetables
• Makes crumbs from crackers or bread for toppings and crusts
• Not intended for tomatoes, meats, cranberries, or coffee beans

How easy is it to operate and maintain?

Operation is straightforward: place pre-cut food (in blocks or lengths that fit the feed chamber), lock the chosen cone in place, hold the unit by the handle, power on, and push the food through with the pusher. Disassembly is minimal—no complicated assembly steps—so washing and storage are quick. The motor base requires only a wipe; all other parts are dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning.

• One-speed motor with feed chute and food pusher included
• Cones slide in and secure with a twist-lock ring—no tools required
• Simple wipe-clean base; parts dishwasher-safe for hassle-free cleanup
• Compact measurements and five-foot cord for flexible placement

What should I know about safety and limits?

The SaladShooter handles many kitchen tasks but has clear usage limits to protect the motor and blades. Always cut food to fit the feed chamber and never process prohibited items like meat, tomatoes, or coffee. Follow the user guide for best practices and the one-year limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship.

• Only process foods suited to the cones; consult the guide for specifics
• Do not use for grinding coffee or processing meats and certain soft fruits
• Keep hands away from the chute and use the provided food pusher
• One-year limited warranty for manufacturing defects

Who is this for: The Presto SaladShooter 02910 is well suited to home cooks who build salads and composed dishes often, hosts who want quick ingredient prep for gatherings, and busy families seeking a compact, easy-to-store tool for slicing and shredding. It’s ideal if you value uniform results, minimal cleanup, and a faster way to grate cheese, shred vegetables, or create toppings without multiple gadgets.
