RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer Programmable Hose Timer — Brass Inlet & Outlet, Large LCD, Rain Delay

RAINPOINT Sprinkler Timer is a weatherproof, programmable hose timer with durable brass inlet/outlet and large LCD that automates drip and sprinkler watering with rain-delay and manual override.

Control outdoor watering with a heavy-duty timer built for gardens, lawns, greenhouse misting and pool fill tasks. The RAINPOINT unit features newly upgraded solid-brass inlet and outlet fittings, an easy-to-read LCD, and flexible scheduling options that let you set start times, duration and frequency to match plant needs while reducing wasted water.

How do I program start times, duration and frequency?

Programming is straightforward: choose a start time, set watering duration from 1 minute up to 3 hours 59 minutes, and pick a frequency ranging from every 1 hour to every 12 hours or once per day up to once every 7 days. The interface displays current settings on the large LCD so you can confirm schedules at a glance.

• Start time selection for multiple daily or weekly cycles
• Duration options: 1 min to 3h59m in clear increments
• Frequency choices: hourly intervals (1–12h) or daily (1–7 days)
• LCD feedback shows active program, remaining time and battery status

What makes the brass inlet and outlet better than plastic?

The RAINPOINT timer uses pure brass inlet and outlet threads that resist cracking, corrosion and warping under pressure or sunlight. Brass metal threads hold up to 116 psi and include built-in metal filter gaskets to block sediment before it enters the irrigation line.

• Solid brass threads for long-term outdoor durability
• Rated to withstand pressures up to 116 psi
• Integrated metal filter gaskets reduce clogging from debris
• UV-resistant body shell protects electronics and fittings

How do rain delay and manual modes work during a schedule?

Rain Delay temporarily suspends the programmed schedule for 24, 48 or 72 hours—useful after heavy rain—then resumes automatically so you don’t have to reprogram. Manual mode lets you run watering immediately for anywhere from 1 minute up to 8 hours without altering the stored schedule.

• Rain Delay: pause schedules for 24/48/72 hours, then auto-resume
• Manual watering: immediate activation, 1 min to 8 hrs, non-destructive to programs
• Quick override for unexpected heat, guests, or repaired lines
• Clear LCD shows active mode and remaining override time

Where can I use this timer around the yard or property?

This timer suits many outdoor irrigation and water-management scenarios: attach to a spigot for hose-fed drip lines, control garden sprinklers, mist greenhouse benches, auto-fill stock tanks or run pet and small pool fill cycles. The weatherproof enclosure and UV-stable materials mean it stands up to sun and rain.

• Drip irrigation systems and soaker hoses for flower beds and vegetable plots
• Lawn sprinklers and oscillating sprinkler setups
• Greenhouse misting or greenhouse irrigation control
• Pool or pond top-offs, pet watering stations, and garden water features

Who is this for? RAINPOINT’s brass-inlet programmable timer is aimed at homeowners, hobby gardeners, small-scale growers and caretakers who want reliable, low-maintenance automation for outdoor watering. It’s ideal for anyone replacing brittle plastic timers, managing seasonal garden beds, controlling greenhouse misting, or automating pool and pet water refill tasks. If you value robust metal fittings, clear LCD feedback, and flexible timing (including rain delay and manual override), this timer delivers a durable, user-friendly solution that reduces water waste and simplifies outdoor watering routines.
