Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate 3.79 L — Driveways & Walkways, Fast-Acting, Rainproof

Spectracide Weed & Grass Killer Concentrate is a ready-to-mix herbicide designed to remove unwanted weeds and grasses on driveways, walkways and around landscape features quickly and down to the root.

Keep hardscape lines neat and stop weeds before they spread with a concentrated formula made for spot treatment. This one-gallon concentrate mixes with water and is applied with a tank sprayer to target unwanted vegetation near patios, fences, flower beds and other non-food areas. It’s engineered to act fast, become rainproof shortly after application, and let you replant in treated areas quickly when needed.

How fast will I see results after I treat weeds?

Visible plant decline can occur in as little as three hours, with more complete browning and dieback over the following days. Results depend on temperature, sunlight and how thoroughly you cover foliage.

• Visible effects often begin within 3 hours in warm, sunny conditions.
• Best performance when applied above 60°F (16°C).
• Full plant death and root effect develop over several days to a week.

Will rain or watering reduce its effectiveness?

This concentrate becomes rainproof shortly after application, so light rainfall or irrigation after that period won’t wash it away. Follow label timing to ensure the product bonds to leaf surfaces.

• Becomes rainproof within about 15 minutes under recommended conditions.
• Avoid heavy watering or irrigation immediately during and just after spraying.
• Apply when no rain is expected for a short window to maximize uptake.

How should I apply it safely and where can I use it?

Mix the concentrate with water and apply using a tank sprayer, thoroughly wetting the leaves of target weeds. Use only on paved edges, gravel, patios, walkways and around landscape ornamentals — not on edible plants or feed crops.

• Mix according to label rates and apply with a tank sprayer for spot treatment.
• Completely cover the leaves of target vegetation for best uptake.
• Protect desirable plants with barriers; if accidentally sprayed, rinse immediately.
• Do not use on food-producing plants or where food/feed will be grown.

When can I replant in treated areas and what aftercare is needed?

Once treated vegetation dies back, you can plant new flowers, trees or shrubs in the same spot after the waiting period specified on the label. Avoid cutting or disturbing treated plants for a full week so the product can translocate to the roots.

• Plant new ornamentals after the recommended waiting period—typically one day for many uses.
• Do not mow, cut, or disturb treated weeds for at least seven days following application.
• For stubborn or perennial weeds, a follow-up treatment may be necessary.
