Ziruma Acacia Cutting Board Set of 3 - FSC Hardwood, Mineral-Oil-Free Beeswax Finish, Laser Icons

Ziruma’s Non-Toxic Acacia Cutting Board Set of 3 is a fully plastic-free, mineral-oil-free chopping set finished with a natural beeswax, flaxseed and lemon oil blend for safe daily food prep.

These three acacia boards combine sustainable sourcing with practical kitchen design: laser-engraved icons for meat, vegetables, and cheese keep ingredients separated; three graduated sizes cover everything from snacks to full meal prep; and the FSC-certified hardwood and plant-based finish avoid petroleum-derived mineral oil. The result is a durable, attractive set that protects food flavor and reduces plastic and chemical exposure in your kitchen.

How do these boards keep food preparation safer?

The set reduces cross-contamination by giving each food category its own board, clearly marked with a laser-engraved icon. The natural finish repels moisture while staying free of mineral oil and synthetic chemicals, lowering the chance of unwanted residues on food surfaces.

• Laser icons for meat, veggies, and cheese make separation intuitive.
• Beeswax, flaxseed, and lemon oil finish provides food-safe protection without petroleum.
• Solid acacia resists deep cuts, limiting bacterial harborage compared to heavily scored surfaces.

Will these boards fit my everyday kitchen tasks?

Yes—the set includes large (17 x 11"), medium (14 x 9"), and small (11 x 7") boards to handle everything from carving and chopping to serving and quick snacks. The boards are sturdy enough for regular chopping yet light enough to move, stack, and store conveniently.

• Large board suited for family meal prep and carving roasts.
• Medium board ideal for daily vegetable and fruit chopping.
• Small board perfect for cheeses, garnishes, or narrow countertops.

What makes the materials and finish better for the environment?

The acacia used is FSC-certified, which means the wood is traceable and harvested from responsibly managed forests. The entire product and packaging are designed to avoid plastics, and the finish uses natural ingredients rather than mineral oil or synthetic additives.

• FSC-certified hardwood ensures ethical, traceable sourcing.
• Plastic-free production and packaging reduce single-use waste.
• Beeswax and plant oils replace petroleum-derived mineral oil near food.

How should I care for these boards to keep them performing?

Wipe clean with warm soapy water and dry upright to preserve the wood; avoid soaking or dishwashing which can warp or crack the boards. Periodically reapply a food-safe beeswax and oil blend (or the provided finish) to maintain moisture resistance and extend the boards’ lifespan.

• Hand wash only—no dishwashers or long soaks.
• Dry standing on edge to prevent warping and mildew.
• Reapply natural oil-wax finish every few months or as needed.

Who is this set for? Home cooks who want to remove plastic and petroleum-derived finishes from their food prep, small households that need flexible board sizes, and eco-conscious shoppers seeking responsibly sourced kitchen tools will all find value in this Ziruma set. If you want clear separation between food types, durable hardwood that looks good on the counter, and a mineral-oil-free finish, these boards are designed for everyday use in mindful kitchens.
