The BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker brews up to twelve 5‑oz cups with an exclusive Vortex showerhead for even extraction and a Sneak‑A‑Cup pause to pour before brewing finishes.

This programmable drip coffee maker combines targeted water flow, easy digital controls and practical cleanup features so you get consistent flavor without fuss. With a 12‑cup glass carafe, a 24‑hour auto‑brew timer and a two‑hour keep‑warm plate, it adapts to busy mornings or slower weekend routines. The removable filter basket accepts basket‑style paper filters and is dishwasher‑safe for fast maintenance.

How does Vortex Technology change the taste of each pot?

Vortex Technology uses a specially designed showerhead to distribute water uniformly over the coffee grounds. Even saturation helps extract more of the grounds' soluble flavors so your brew tastes fuller and more balanced from the first cup to the last.

• Exclusive showerhead directs water evenly over grounds
• Improved extraction yields richer, more consistent flavor
• Works with regular medium grind for best results

Can I get a cup before the entire pot is finished?

Yes — the Sneak‑A‑Cup feature temporarily halts flow so you can lift the carafe and pour without drips or spills. Brewing pauses automatically and resumes when the carafe is returned, but replace it within 30 seconds to avoid overflow and restart brewing correctly.

• Stops flow to allow a quick first pour
• Designed to prevent messes and spills
• Automatically resumes brewing when carafe is replaced

What programming and warming options are available?

Digital QuickTouch controls let you set the clock and schedule auto‑brew up to 24 hours ahead so hot coffee is ready when you want it. After brewing, the glass carafe sits on a keep‑warm plate that maintains serving temperature for up to two hours.

• 24‑hour programmable timer for timed brewing
• QuickTouch buttons simplify setting and operation
• 2‑hour keep‑warm plate holds coffee near serving temperature (approx. 154°F)

How straightforward is cleaning and filter replacement?

The removable filter basket detaches for quick emptying and is dishwasher‑safe for low‑effort cleaning. It accepts standard basket‑style paper filters, making replenishment simple and familiar for most coffee drinkers.

• Dishwasher‑safe removable filter basket for easy cleaning
• Compatible with common basket‑style paper filters
• Carafe and exterior wipe clean with a damp cloth
