Canon PIXMA TS6520 Wireless Colour Inkjet All-in-One Printer, White — Duplex Printing, Compact Home Office

The Canon PIXMA TS6520 is a compact, budget-friendly all-in-one inkjet that prints, scans, and copies with automatic two-sided printing and simple wireless setup.

Designed for families, students, and home-office users who need reliable everyday printing without extra complexity, the PIXMA TS6520 balances print quality and convenience in a small footprint. It pairs a two-cartridge hybrid ink system with a 1.42” monochrome OLED panel for quick status checks, offers stable dual-band Wi‑Fi for mobile printing, and fits easily into limited desk spaces. While it does not include an automatic document feeder, it still handles high-quality documents and photos up to 8.5” x 11”. Below are focused answers to common buyer questions to help you decide if this model meets your needs.

How easy is setup and daily use with the PIXMA TS6520?

Setup is straightforward for both smartphones and computers, guided by the Canon PRINT app or standard system dialogues. The 1.42” OLED display and intuitive control panel give clear status updates so you can monitor ink, connection, and print jobs at a glance.

• Step-by-step mobile setup via Canon PRINT app or AirPrint/Mopria compatibility
• Monochrome OLED shows ink levels and connection status clearly
• Compact design for quick placement on a desk or shelf
• Simple control layout reduces learning time for new users

What print quality and media options can I expect?

The two-cartridge hybrid ink system produces sharp text and vibrant color prints suitable for documents, school projects, and family photos. It supports borderless prints and handles a variety of media up to letter size, giving flexibility for everyday tasks and casual photo printing.

• Two-cartridge hybrid system for crisp documents and vivid colors
• Borderless photo printing up to 8.5” x 11” for images that fill the page
• Good color reproduction for flyers, schoolwork, and snapshots
• Affordable ink options keep running costs reasonable for light-to-moderate use

How does the PIXMA TS6520 help save paper and time?

Automatic two-sided printing reduces paper usage and cuts the time needed for multi-page jobs. Wireless printing from smartphones and computers removes the need for physical connections, letting you send jobs from anywhere in the home quickly.

• Auto duplex printing for double-sided documents and fewer paper changes
• Dual-band Wi‑Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) for stable connections and fewer drops
• Mobile printing via Canon PRINT, AirPrint, and Mopria for fast remote jobs
• Integrated scanner and copier for quick digital or duplicate tasks

What are the trade-offs compared with feature-packed models?

The TS6520 focuses on core printing, scanning, and copying features rather than advanced office functions. It lacks an automatic document feeder (ADF) and some higher-end finishing or speed options found in larger all-in-ones, but those omissions help keep the unit compact and affordable.

• No ADF — manual feeding for multi-page scans and copies
• Designed for light-to-moderate daily use rather than heavy office workloads
• Prioritizes a small footprint and simple operation over advanced automation
• Cost-effective choice for homes, students, and small households

Who this is for: If you need a dependable, easy-to-use home printer that produces sharp documents and attractive photos without a large footprint or high price tag, the Canon PIXMA TS6520 is a strong fit. It’s especially well suited to families, students, and hybrid workers who want reliable wireless printing, automatic two-sided output, and straightforward mobile printing, but who don’t require heavy-duty business features like an ADF or high-volume duty cycles.
