DJI Osmo Mobile 8 phone gimbal stabilizer — Standard Combo with foldable 3-axis, tripod & extension rod

DJI Osmo Mobile 8 Standard Combo is a foldable, three-axis phone gimbal that stabilizes footage, connects directly to your phone, and includes a magnetic clamp, tripod, and built-in extension rod for versatile shooting.

Compact but powerful, the Osmo Mobile 8 is designed to make steady, cinematic phone video easier without hauling heavy gear. It pairs rapid setup with extended battery life and smart tracking, so creators can capture interviews, travel moments, social clips, and livestreams with less fuss and more polish.

How does the Osmo Mobile 8 keep footage steady during movement?

Advanced three-axis stabilization compensates for shakes, pans, and steps to deliver smooth footage whether walking, running, or shooting handheld. The gimbal motors respond quickly to motion, keeping your subject framed and steady across different angles.

• Robust 3-axis motor system for shake reduction
• 360° horizontal pan for uninterrupted panning shots
• Quick balancing when you mount most modern smartphones
• Lightweight frame for extended handheld shooting

What smart features help me track subjects and improve audio or lighting?

Osmo Mobile 8 supports intelligent tracking that locks onto faces or moving subjects and follows them smoothly. While the Standard Combo does not include the Multifunctional Module, the gimbal is designed to accept accessories later for onboard audio and fill lighting enhancements.

• Native subject tracking through direct phone connection
• Compatibility with accessory modules for audio and light (sold separately)
• One-tap follow modes for effortless subject centering
• Auto-reframe and simple editing tools to polish clips fast

How portable is this gimbal for travel and everyday use?

The Osmo Mobile 8 folds down into a compact shape and includes an integrated extension rod and tripod, so you can travel light and still capture wide group shots or high angles. The design aims to be pocketable in a daypack while providing professional-style shooting options on demand.

• Folds flat for easy storage in bags or backpacks
• Built-in extension rod replaces a separate selfie stick
• Included tripod enables hands-free recording and long takes
• Ultra-comfort grip reduces wrist fatigue during long shoots

How long can I shoot, and can it charge my phone while recording?

The gimbal offers extended runtime to cover long outings, events, and streaming sessions, and supports pass-through charging to keep your phone powered while you film. That lets you focus on content instead of battery anxiety during lengthy shoots.

• Up to approximately 10 hours of continuous operation
• Phone charging capability while gimbal is in use
• Efficient power management for long live streams or events
• Rapid reconnection to your phone for quick setups between shots

Note: the Standard Combo includes the gimbal, Magnetic Phone Clamp, tripod, and extension rod; the Multifunctional Module (audio + light) is available separately. Also, due to platform compatibility changes, the DJI Mimo app has been removed from Google Play — visit DJI's official website to download the latest DJI Mimo version for the full feature set.
