Nalgene 946 ml Narrow Mouth Water Bottle, Amethyst — Tritan Renew, Leak-Proof 1 L

The Nalgene 32 oz Narrow Mouth Water Bottle in Amethyst is a nearly indestructible, 1‑liter reusable bottle built for leak‑proof, easy drinking on the move.

Compact enough for a daypack and roomy enough for a full day of hydration, this narrow‑mouth bottle combines rugged Tritan Renew plastic with a reliable 2.5‑inch screw cap to keep leaks, tastes, and spills away. With measurement markings, wide temperature tolerance, and dishwasher‑safe construction, it’s a practical solution for commuters, gym users, campers, and anyone who wants a low‑maintenance bottle that lasts.

How does the narrow mouth design help during active use?

The narrower opening concentrates flow so you can sip or chug without water sloshing back into your face—handy for moving vehicles, treadmill intervals, or quick gulps on the trail. It also reduces the chance of accidental splashes when packing the bottle into a bag.

• 2.5" screw top provides a secure seal for leak resistance.
• Narrow neck controls flow for easy, splash‑free drinking.
• Fits many backpack side pockets and bike cages more easily than wide‑mouth bottles.

Is this bottle durable enough for outdoor use?

Yes—made from impact‑resistant Tritan Renew, the bottle withstands drops and daily wear without cracking or retaining odors. The material is free of BPA, BPS, and phthalates, so you get long‑lasting performance with safer contact between water and plastic.

• Impact‑resistant construction for hikes, gyms, and work commutes.
• Won’t trap odors or flavors; easy to rinse or run in the dishwasher.
• Temperature tolerance from -40°F to 212°F for versatile use.

How easy is it to clean and maintain?

This bottle is top‑rack dishwasher safe and also accepts a long‑handled narrow brush for thorough manual cleaning. Measurement lines on the side help you monitor intake and mix powders precisely, so upkeep is straightforward whether you wash by hand or machine.

• Top‑rack dishwasher safe for hassle‑free cleaning.
• Measurement lines in mL and oz for tracking hydration and mixes.
• Use a narrow bottle brush to clean the neck and cap threads thoroughly.

What practical uses does it support beyond drinking water?

Thanks to its wide temperature range and sturdy seal, the bottle doubles as a cold pack or hot‑water source in the field and can hold boiled water for campsite drinks. It’s also lightweight for travel and eligible for reuse systems, helping cut single‑use plastic waste.

• Freeze half‑filled to use as an ice block for coolers or recovery packs.
• Hold hot water for warming a sleeping bag or making drinks at camp.
• Lightweight 6.25 oz design keeps pack weight low for long days out.

Who is this for? The Nalgene 32 oz Narrow Mouth in Amethyst is aimed at people who want a reliable, low‑maintenance hydration companion: commuters who need leak‑proof performance in bags, athletes who want fast access to water without spills, outdoor enthusiasts who count on rugged materials, and anyone reducing single‑use bottles.
