UNNI Compostable Kitchen Bags 9.84 L (200 Count) — Extra Thick 0.71 mil, Certified ASTM D6400

UNNI 2.6 Gallon Compostable Bags are heavy-duty, certified compostable kitchen liners sold in a 200-count pack for everyday food and household waste.

These 10-liter liners combine thicker material with official compostability certifications so you can hold messy, moist scraps without relying on conventional plastic. Designed for countertop bins, small trash cans, and home compost systems, the UNNI bags offer a practical single-use solution for separating organic waste while meeting ASTM D6400 and recognized program standards.

How durable are these bags for kitchen and food scraps?

The 0.71 mil thickness provides extra tear and puncture resistance compared with typical thin compostable liners. You can carry heavier or wetter loads without frequent ruptures.

• Extra-thick 0.71 mil film reduces rips and leakage
• Suitable for fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, and plate scrapings
• Works well in countertop or 2–3 gallon indoor bins

Will these bags actually break down in compost?

UNNI bags are certified to comply with ASTM D6400 and carry certifications from BPI, CMA, and Europe OK, indicating they meet accepted standards for industrial and recognized home composting programs. Certification means the material formulation and testing meet established compostability criteria.

• Tested against ASTM D6400 requirements
• Certified by US BPI and CMA plus Europe OK
• Designed for accepted municipal or home composting systems where standards apply

How many bags come per pack and what size are they?

This bundle includes 200 bags sized for approximately 2.6 gallons (about 9.84 liters) each—compact enough for kitchen countertop pails yet generous for daily organic waste. The roll-style packaging keeps replacement simple and organized.

• 200-count pack reduces frequent restocking
• Each bag holds about 2.6 gallons / 9.84 liters
• Roll format for quick dispensing and tidy storage

How should I use and store these compostable liners?

Place a single bag inside your small kitchen pail or trash can, spoon in organic scraps, then tie closed when full for transport to your compost bin or municipal organics collection. Keep rolls in a cool, dry place to preserve material integrity until use.

• Tie securely before transferring to a composting system
• Store away from direct heat and sunlight
• Not intended as a permanent waterproof barrier—designed for compostable waste handling

Who is this for? Home cooks, apartment dwellers, and small-quantity composters who want a sturdier, certified compostable liner for daily organic waste will find the UNNI 2.6 Gallon bags useful. They suit anyone seeking an alternative to thin plastic liners for countertop bins, small bathroom or office waste receptacles, and households participating in local composting or organics-collection programs. If you need larger industrial liners for yard waste or heavy refuse, consider a different UNNI offering sized for those volumes.
